迴路式熱管（LHP）是依靠封閉式迴路管內的工質在蒸發器與冷凝器的熱交換進而達成熱量傳遞。熱量從蒸發器傳遞給工質，使工質變成氣體。而當氣體流經冷凝器時，其被冷凝成液體，而蒸發器內部的微米級多孔性毛細結構可利用毛細力將冷凝液體帶回蒸發器，如此即可完成流體循環，達成熱量的傳遞。
